Veteran-Led Retreats for Recalibration and Reset

We deliver a coaching-based model built on three pillars:

  • Resilience: stress management and emotional regulation

  • Performance: discipline, readiness, execution under pressure

  • Purpose: identity, goals, and direction

We empower veterans to transform adversity into strength by restoring mental resilience, optimizing performance, and rebuilding purpose through integrated training, community, and growth-focused experiences.

The Waypoint Six Retreat Experience

A structured, peer-guided reset designed for individuals from high-responsibility environments seeking reflection, grounding, and reconnection in a natural setting.

Core Elements of Each Retreat

  • Small, intentionally selected cohorts

  • Nature-based environments away from daily operational demands

  • Guided group dialogue and peer accountability

  • Breathwork and grounding practices

  • Periods of silence, reflection, and journaling

  • Optional wellness practices facilitated by local partners

  • Integration sessions before and after the retreat

What Waypoint 6 Retreats Are

Waypoint Six retreats are not clinical treatment programs, medical interventions, or recreational experiences. They are not therapy, and no medical or psychological outcomes are promised.

We provide a structured container for reflection and reset, supported by experienced facilitators and trusted international partners operating within their local legal and cultural frameworks.

Trusted International Partners

We partner with established retreat sanctuaries in select international locations. Each site offers a private, natural environment and professional support to safely host our structured retreats, respecting local regulations and cultural context.

Experienced Veteran Leadership

  • Medical oversight and on-site support during all retreat activities

  • Small cohort sizes for close participant attention

  • Leadership drawn from veterans and operational experts

  • Pre-retreat screening to optimize participant experience

Nature-Based Healing

Waypoint Six integrates nature-based and culturally informed practices —to support growth in well-being, resilience, and consciousness.

Our approach:

  • Honors natural and cultural traditions

  • Supports reflection, emotional well-being, and personal growth

  • Connects participants with the healing power of nature

  • Draws from longstanding cultural traditions and nature-based practices

At the Waypoint Six Sanctuary, each participant is approached with respect, intention, and a focus on personal growth.

VOICES OF WAYPOINT SIX

Stories of resilience, connection, and moving forward—from the veterans who experienced it.

SURVIVAL → PEACE

“Some of us became very good at surviving, but that does not necessarily mean we learned how to live in peace.

— U.S. Army Veteran
Waypoint Six Participant

THE PAST → FORWARD

“For so much of my life, I have been looking backward. Today, I feel like I can finally begin moving forward. The past will always be part of my story, but it doesn’t have to be the place where I continue to live.”

— U.S. Marine Veteran
Waypoint Six Participant

ISOLATION → CONNECTION

“As veterans, we get very good at carrying things. We carry memories, people, experiences, losses, and pieces of our past that sometimes never completely leave us… This weekend reminded me that maybe we don’t always have to.”

— U.S. Veteran
Waypoint Six Participant

SELF-WORTH

“I am eternally grateful to have been able to experience a love for myself that I once only held for others.”

— U.S. Army Veteran
‍ ‍Waypoint Six Participant

ANGER → PURPOSE

“It dawned on me how powerful my happiness is on others—not just me, but others. I never want to lose this. I no longer want to serve the anger in me, I want to serve others.”

— U.S. Army Veteran
‍ ‍Waypoint Six Participant

THE EXPERIENCE ISN'T THE MEASURE. WHAT YOU DO WITH IT IS.

“I’m intentionally not making grand declarations about how this weekend ‘changed my life,’ because one of the things I took from Waypoint Six is that the experience itself isn’t the measure of change. What I do with it is.”

— U.S. Army Veteran
‍ ‍Waypoint Six Participant

“The ceremony was powerful, but what impressed me just as much was everything surrounding it—the preparation, intentionality, environment, people, integration, and structure you have built around the experience.”
